Cat's in the Cradle

My oldest son Noah absolutly amazes me. For the past few months he has been spending his spare time reading the blogs of our friends and family. My first instinct is to say, “Noah, go outside and play” but somewhere along the way I realized that he is reading and building relationships with our friends. Not to mention the fact that Jennifer and I do the same thing in our spare time. So if we know you and you have a blog there is a good chance that my 6.5 year old son has read every post on it. Over the past few weeks his obsession has gone to a new level. He started asking his mom and I if he could write something on her blog. We allowed him to post a few things on the blog. He learned to upload pictures, type and publish his post. So this weekend I asked if he wanted to start his own blog. He looked at me as if the possibility had never occurred to him and said, ya ya ya! So here it is… my six year old’s blog.

And as I hung up the phone it occurred to me,
He’d grown up just like me.
My boy was just like me.
(Yeah, yeah, yeah)

Clint….What a blessed family you have. That is great Noah has his own blog now. I will enjoy reading it. I am recuperating from foot surgery and can’t put my foot on the floor for 3 weeks, the surgery was a week ago today, will be out of work for 6-8 weeks so……..yesterday I sat here and read probably 200 of the Iceland Project blogs, maybe more. It was GREAT…can’t tell you how much I enjoyed it. I feel like I know all the families involved now and once in a while I read of someone we met over there. Soon as I get through with this I’m going back to the IP blogs and read all I can find. Will get back to church tonight and hope to find out from Bro. D how we can help you with your trip to Indonesia. Blessings to all the Cliftons…. By the way, I can think of a lot worse people Noah could grow up to be like than you….yeah, yeah, yeah!!!!!!!
