Clint Clifton is the founding pastor of Pillar Church in Dumfries Virginia. Pillar Church began in 2005 just one mile north of Marne Corps Base Quantico. Pillar has started churches in Reykjavik, Iceland and Bali, Indonesia, Norfolk, VA and Fredericksburg, VA. In 2011 Pillar Church launched its most ambitious effort, the Praetorian Project, an effort to plant a network of new churches at every Marine Corps base in the world. Today there are eight Praetorian Project Churches. Clint and his wife Jennifer have been married since 2000 and have four children Noah, Ruthe, Isaiah and Moses. The Clifton’s are also in the process of adopting two children from Haiti. Clint served as a church planter and associate pastor at several churches in the Southeast before planting Pillar Church. Clint holds a B.A. from The Baptist College of Florida in Graceville, FL and an M.A. from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, VA. Today, Clint oversees the church planting efforts of Pillar Church and works for the North American Mission Board as the director as the City Missionary for Washington DC and gives direction to the New City Network.
